LORRY DRIVER CAUGHT WITH HEROIN CARGO
A 54-year-old man has been arrested after being stopped with a heroin shipment worth approximately £3 million via Dover. The Hungarian national was stopped on July 28th while entering the country via Dover.
Dobos denied smuggling, even though his fingerprints were found on boxes where the heroin was concealed, and messages referencing the package size and space in the vehicle were found on his mobile phone.
Paul Jones, NCA operations manager, stated: 'Like so many smugglers, Dobos enthusiastically got involved because of greed. He wanted to smuggle more than the 29kg he was caught with because he wanted a bumper pay day. He didn't care at all about the bloodshed and devastation Class A drugs cause to our communities.
