DOVER: HISTORIC PUB LES FLEURS UP FOR SALE.

Dover: historic pub Les Fleurs up for sale.

The historic Les Fleurs pub in Ladywell, Dover, closed in December after an honourable 150 years of service serving pints at its bar. The inn, originally called the Sir John Falstaff and believed to date back to 1869, has been valued at £549,950. The current hostel on the first floor has space for up to 12 people and, according to Mr Flowers, has had a "positive knock-on effect" for nearby businesses. Approved plans would have seen the bar area partitioned and the rest of the ground floor reconfigured to provide additional accommodation for up to eight guests.
